When creating inspiration boards, sometimes the board itself acts as inspiration for something, while other times the board can come after the creation of something. The design process is never set in stone. This vintage look I put together today was the perfect mood and feel for an inspiration board with it’s bold colors and mixed prints. That means, this shoot was the catalyst for creating the above inspiration board. Creativity is all about not following an exact process and being open to doing things different from what you are used to.

Spring Inspiration: Mustard, Olive, Rust

At least in California, Spring has started peeking in very, very early. It has definitely given me a case of the Spring-bug! Last week, I shared one of my Spring inspiration boards. I really enjoyed getting back in the creative bug with this post. Today, I am trying something similar, but a little different. I have put together some Spring inspiration entitled “Mustard, Olive, Rust,” and included some of my favorite Spring pieces (for plus size!) inspired by this board.
