Yesterday I spent the day reliving childhood memories of the past by visiting Marine World (it’s actually now called “Six Flags Discovery Kingdom,” but it will forever be “Marine World” to me because that’s what it was called when I was a kid). Marine World used to be purely a kind of zoo. They had mainly marine animals and shows featuring whales, dolphins, etc. Now, they still have some of the animals, but in addition, have a bunch of amusement park rides. To put it mildly, the long drive to the park, sun, line waiting, and the rides wore me out (I had a lot of fun though)! I’m such an old lady now!
