It’s such a different change of pace to take photos in a new location. It has taken me out of my rut and routine, because I must figure out how things work, how and when the light works best, and a easy and fast way to get things done. I feel a bit awkward and rusty, but I’m sure, soon enough I will once again have a routine down. At least it’s spiced things up a bit! I’m looking forward to new ideas and inspiration.
But, let’s talk about the sadness and beauty the drought in California has brought to the landscape. Everything is dead, brown, and yellow. It’s ugly and beautiful at the same time, and gives a whole new look and texture to life and photographs. You must find the good, even in the bad…
