Do/did you major in fashion design or merchandising, communications, marketing, or the like?
Are you interested in fashion, plus size, and blogging?
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This internship is varying and always changing. Responsibilities include (but not limited to): doing basic specing (measuring) of garments, assisting on photo shoots, helping organize and maintain the show room, blogging, marketing, and basic mending of garments.
This is an unpaid internship, but lunch will be provided (plus the following). I am willing to work with any school programs for credit, compensation in shop items and discounts, real world experience for your resume, letter of recommendation, and portfolio/career guidance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Transportation to The Curvy Elle Show Room & Studio in Fremont (East Bay).
- Available to come in 1-2 days a week for 2-3 months minimum
- Basic sewing knowledge
- Familiarity with clothing construction, blogging, social media
- (Not mandatory) If you’re a Size 12+, you’re interested in possibly doing some modeling for the blog and shop
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
