A dream can be a powerful thing. Have you ever had a dream so intense and vivid, it stays with you all day long?
The night before last I dreamt about a friend of mine. We haven’t been in contact lately. In this dream I was searching for my friend and he wouldn’t respond. Even when I saw him, he wouldn’t acknowledge me. The whole dream was about trying to get him to notice and talk to me…. To no avail, I couldn’t get him to just talk to me. At one point in the dream I was screaming and pleading with him. I was so hurt, heart broken, and betrayed. Even though this dream wasn’t real, and in real life he would never do this to me, I woke up crushed. All day I couldn’t shake the dream and the feelings. Even today, writing this almost brings me to tears…
Sometimes, you can care about someone so much, yet you don’t know if you can ever have them back in your life… For a small snippet of your life they were so important, and with a blink of an eye they are gone (by choice or not). This can sometimes be one of the most painful things
