American as apple pie.
As sweet as cotton candy.
Bows and rainbows.
Happiness to the n-th degree.
Peachy blushed cheeks glowing.
Some days call for a little more bright lights, singing birds, and puffy skirts.
Today, the 1950’s gal in my soul was calling to be let out. Petticoats, rick-rack, and all. Sweet as a summer’s eve, as brilliant as a star burning bright. Nothing to hold me back or tie me down. Shining for me and only me. Only possibilities on the horizon.
My 1950’s gal and I have much in common. I just have to keep reminding myself of that… It sure doesn’t hurt when you get cat calls and whistles without wearing a mini skirt and boobs popping out galore. Class is where it’s at! For shhu-RRE!!
