I made this skirt last year from a pattern by “Decades of Style.” It was supposed to be a 1950’s pattern, which means the skirt should have been a lot fuller–but I did an “oopsie.” I was trying to sew the skirt all fancy with french seams, and when I was trimming the seam allowance on one of the gores, I accidentally gouged out a huge section. I had to trim the corresponding gore to match–so, there went all the fullness! In the end, this skirt went from a 1950’s era to a 1940’s era skirt. Let’s just pretend I did that on purpose! It is cute either way!
