It has been an odd week, to say the least…
On Monday, my grandmother fell, cut her forehead open by her glasses frames, and had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Talk about stressful!
She is okay, excepts for the massive swollen black/purple eye and stitches. It definitely “could have been worse.” She looks like she had a boxing match. We were joking that she’s ready for Halloween–and she’s very authentic!
All jokes aside, I guess that’s life… there is always some kind of hiccup to throw your life out of wack! You gotta take the punches–literally and figuratively!
There is always a sunny side to things. Take this mustard yellow jacket–it makes me happy! It’s one of my favorite colors and I love the low waist double breasted look. I really push myself to be a “glass is half full” type of gal. I definitely have to work at it since I am naturally inclined to the opposite. It’s all about the here and now.
On the bright side, all is well when you have that little something to make you happy in that moment.
