Pretty in Pink (New Shop Items)

I made it back to California safe and sound, even if still a little jet lagged! Here are some pretty pink and floral items I added to The Curvy Elle Shop. They make me think of summertime, softness, and warmth.

Happy 5th of July

Yes, the title was on purpose. The day after the 4th of July: full of hung over people, sun burned to a crisp.

Thank goodness for independence!

My last full day in New York is upon me. Time to soak up my last hours here, because it may be a while before I come back for a visit.

Don’t be too sad, New York. I never can stay away from you for too long. You know how it is… Absence make the heart grow fonder…
I’ll miss walking in the park, your unmistakeable energy, all your crazy fashion… All that makes you so uniquely you.

As the quote says:
“Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard. Live in northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft.” 
I guess I am destined to be “soft.” But, I am okay with that. Maybe when I feel myself getting to soft, I’ll have to come for an extended visit so that I can harden up.
