I’ve been fighting with myself to get my mind and life in order. I love what I do, but I’ve been uninspired, lately. I’m generally happy in my life, but have been restless and unsure, recently.

Am I doing the right thing for my career?

Do I have the right people in my life?

What do I want for my personal life?

What are my next steps?

I’ve had so many questions and feelings circling my mind, and a lot of them are still up in the air. But, I’m finally (slowly) figuring out what those answers are… For this point in my life, of course. Aren’t these the continuing questions to life?

 

I am continuing the “Out Takes” series with a fourth shoot. (Out Takes one, two, three) This was another one of the first photo shoots I did for The Curvy Elle. (The original post is entitles “Laurel in Wonderland.”) There were some wonderful images that did not make it into that post, so here we are finally getting a look at some previously lost shots.

These pictures were taken in my grandmother’s back yard, which you can tell hasn’t changed much since they moved in during the 1970’s. This makes a great backdrop for a vintage inspired shoot!
