Plus Size Healthy Living: Whole 30 Update

I am on day 25 of my Whole30. So, five more days to go and still going strong. I still haven’t been able to do a lot of exercise due to shoulder and back injuries, but I have been good at sticking to this program. I have also been taking some long walks the last couple of days. I am feeling really good (physically, mentally, and emotionally). I lost some more inches and pounds and can tell the difference in my body. Doing the Whole30 program has proven to myself that I can make a change to what I’m putting into my body and STICK TO IT.  I think what I have to keep reminding myself and everyone out there that is struggling with their weight and/or health issues — there’s always another plan b (or c, or f, or x), there’s always another change, and most things are not irreversible.

 

Now is the time to figure out what I will do once I finish this Whole30. Do another one? Do a modified one that has “cheat” meals? Something different? Any ideas or insights from your own experience?

New in Store: January 11, 2015

I spent today at home except for my morning coffee run and dinner (no I didn’t cheat on my Whole30, I was a good girl) earlier tonight. I “spring” (or more correctly “winter”) cleaned the house and then worked on a new layout for this blog for the rest of the day. (I will go into more detail on my next post.) It was quite a fulfilling day and I hope to be back in the swing of things this week after being sick all last week.  For now, here are this week’s newest additions to The Curvy Elle Shop!
