Woah! Have we been having a heat wave the last two days in the SF Bay Area. I’ve been hiding out in my living room in front of the air conditioning mostly. These Out Takes come from a photo shoot originating in a post entitled, “Summertime Blues” posted on June 28, 2013. I miss this overgrown backyard at my dad’s house. Taking pictures in the shade with all my dogs bugging me while photo bombing my shots (find the dog butt in one of the above pictures?). Now, that backyard is missing the big shady tree that my dad had to have cut down and combined with the severe California drought, a lot of the foliage has dried up. It’s not the same backyard I grew up with until just a few years ago… But, that’s life, things never stay quite the same forever.
