I mentioned previously how my grandmother broke her pelvis right before Christmas and has been in a convalescent home recovering since then. Yesterday they released her to come home, but she is anywhere near being mobile and able to fully care for herself. It’s sad to see someone get older and you know that they can never fully go back to being who you remember. Aging is hard stuff and being with someone who is going through it can sometimes be even harder.
