Yesterday, the oddest thing happened… I lost the sapphire and diamond ring I’m wearing in the above pictures–and that is only the beginning of the story!
I went out to run some errands last evening. When I got home I looked down at my hand and my rings was gone. GONE. My finger was empty. For how long, I do not know.
I have worn this ring every day for the last four years. It was a graduation gift from my dad. Added to the sentimental value, my dad paid a pretty penny for it. The reason I never take it off is because of the very fact of not wanting to lose it!
So, I looked. My grandmother looked. My mom looked. Nobody found it.
I was trying to keep calm and not panic. I told myself that I would look in the morning when the light was better, there wasn’t anything I could do that night.
Later that evening, I took a shower and was getting ready for bed. I was going in and out of my room, doing things… la di da… When I walk back into the room and see something laying right next to my sleeping dog’s nose at the foot of my bed.
It was my ring!
Earlier, I had thrown the blankets around, looked all over –to no avail. Then poof! It appears, almost out of thin air! And, lying perfectly right next to my dog–as if saying: ‘haha! nanner nanner!’
I think someone or something was playing a joke on me! How perfect was that?!
